The Department of Computer Science and Engineering offers a comprehensive 4-year Bachelor of Science (B.Sc. (Engg.)) degree program. Our curriculum is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in computer science principles, programming, software development, and emerging technologies.
Graduates from our program are well-prepared for careers in software development, data science, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and many other exciting fields in the technology industry.
Admission to the undergraduate program is conducted through the GST (General, Science & Technology) cluster admission system. GST is an integrated admission process for 19 public universities across Bangladesh, including Islamic University, Kushtia. This system allows students to take a single admission test to apply to multiple universities within the cluster.
The GST admission test is a one-hour Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) exam worth 100 marks. For Computer Science & Engineering, students must appear in Unit A (Science). The test includes negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer, with a minimum pass mark of 30.

Appear for the Unit A (Science) admission test at your designated center.
Results will be published on the GST website. Check your merit position and eligibility.
If selected, complete the admission formalities at Islamic University.
